Students then completed the Thinking Through the Literature and the Vocabulary in Action on pages 1258-1259. All assignments not completed in class should be completed for homework.

Students wrote essays to practice writing processes in preparation for the FCAT Writes. The writing assignment is listed below:

People have different qualities that are important to them.
Directions for Writing
Think about the personal quality that is most important to you.
Write to explain if being popular, accomplishing things, or being organized is most important to you and why you chose that quality.
Students used the remainder of class time to work on their research projects. These projects are due Tuesday, December 5, 2006.
